What Is Ultracompact Surfaces?

Ultracompact surfaces, from a variety of suppliers, are made from a proprietary blend of prime raw materials used to manufacture glass, modern porcelain, and natural quartz stone. These raw materials are fused and compressed under high pressure to create a slab material that is very dense and, as its name implies, ultracompact.



This is achieved through an exclusive fabrication process branded by each ultracompact supplier. This innovative process mixes raw elements under high temperatures and extreme pressure, creating an accelerated version of the metamorphic changes that natural stone undergoes over thousands of years.

Important Care Note: While stains can occur, they are rare and usually easily removed. It does not need sealing. However, please note that Ultracompact Surfaces is much more prone to chips and cracks than granite.
